Drive less, pollute less

Every year, the average car produces 4.9 pounds of nitrogen oxides, 9.1 pounds of hydrocarbons and a whopping 62.5 pounds of carbon monoxide. If everyone made an effort to not drive alone at least one day a week, air quality would improve dramatically. So get your car off the road as much as possible—you’ll be doing everyone (and their lungs) a big favor.
